Multi trade businesses have a specific website problem: they do several things well, and saying so all at once makes them sound unfocused. ONYX WORLD offers painting, tiling and flooring for residential and commercial clients from a base in Coimbra, and the brief was to present all of it without the home page turning into a list.
The answer was a service led structure. The home page introduces the company and its standard of finish, then hands the visitor straight to the trade they actually came for. Painting, tiling and flooring each have their own page with their own photography, their own description of process and materials, and their own enquiry route. A visitor looking for floor laying never has to read about wall painting to find what they need.
Because the client works with both homeowners and commercial contracts, the copy was written to serve both without splitting into two websites. Residential visitors get reassurance about tidiness, timelines and working in an occupied home. Commercial visitors get scale, scheduling and consistency across larger jobs. The same page speaks to both by ordering the information rather than duplicating it.
Trust across borders needed its own attention. A European client hiring an interior finishing company wants to see completed work, not promises, so the gallery carries real project photography and an areas we serve section makes the working radius explicit. Reviews are placed where decisions happen, and WhatsApp buttons sit on every service page because cross border enquiries almost always begin as a message rather than a phone call.
The finish is clean, professional and craft focused: neutral surfaces that let the photography carry the quality of the work, with a single consistent call to action for a free quote. The outcome is a polished European presence that turns both local Coimbra searches and cross border enquiries into quote requests.
Outcome
A polished European presence that turns local and cross border searches into quote requests.
