About the client
Mimi's Pizza is a fast food restaurant in Lala Musa, Punjab, serving pizzas, burgers, wings and family deals with free home delivery. Its public website at mimispizza.site offers a digital menu, online ordering and live order tracking connected to the restaurant's own POS software built by ECOM Builder Pakistan.
Overview
An all in one restaurant system for Mimi's Pizza in Lala Musa: a custom point of sale software for billing, riders, inventory and reports, plus a public website where customers order from a digital menu and track their order live from kitchen to doorstep. Designed and built by ECOM Builder Pakistan.
Challenge
A busy fast food restaurant handles dine in, takeaway and home delivery at the same time. Bills, rider cash, stock and daily sales were hard to keep in one place, and customers kept calling to ask whether their order was still in the kitchen or already on the way. The restaurant needed one connected system for the counter and a simple way for customers to see their order status themselves.
Goals
- Give the counter a fast POS for dine in, takeaway and delivery bills
- Manage riders, cash, menu, tables, inventory and expenses in one place
- Generate printable bills and searchable invoices automatically
- Let customers track their order live using the invoice number
- Offer online ordering through a digital menu
Solution
A dedicated POS software for the restaurant team connected to a public website at mimispizza.site. Orders created at the counter appear in live tracking, so customers can see whether their order is in the kitchen, being prepared, ready or out with the rider, and roughly when it will arrive. The whole system was designed and built by ECOM Builder Pakistan.

Design
A warm orange and white interface matching the Mimi's Pizza brand. The POS keeps large product cards, clear category filters and a fixed order panel so staff can bill quickly during rush hours, while the public website leads with the restaurant's storefront, a live tracking card and quick actions for menu, reviews and calls. Branded in app dialogs replace plain browser popups on every device.
Technology
- Cloud POS web application
- Role based staff access
- Live order tracking with receipt QR codes
- Thermal printing for Android and desktop
- Digital menu and online ordering
The case study includes a feature by feature tour of the POS software: Overall Sales, Menu Management, Table Management, Riders and Cash, Previous Invoices, Expenses and Purchases, Reports, Team Members and Invoice Templates. All data shown in these screenshots was entered during testing and is not the client's real data. After final handover, all of the client's personal data, logins and access are fully in the client's own control.
Mimi's Pizza is not a simple restaurant website. It is a dual portal system: a public customer hub at mimispizza.site with a digital menu, verified reviews and live order tracking, and a private staff POS billing terminal built for fast restaurant work on Android tablets and desktops. Both portals were designed and built by ECOM Builder Pakistan.
The staff terminal is hidden from customers and protected by two layers: a staff PIN plus an email and password login. Repeated wrong attempts trigger an automatic lockout, and role based permissions separate cashiers, kitchen staff, delivery managers and owners, so sensitive finances and deletions stay with the owner.
At the counter, the billing engine handles Dine in orders linked to tables, Takeaway and Home Delivery. Deals support live pizza flavor upgrades with the price difference calculated automatically, each line item can carry extras such as cheese, patties, dips or custom instructions, and discounts or extra charges can be applied as a flat amount or a percentage. Returning customers are found instantly by phone or name, with their address and delivery area filled in automatically.
Printing was designed around real thermal printers. A single customer copy prints by default to save paper, with optional kitchen tickets showing deal components and flavors and rider delivery slips. Five receipt designs support 80mm and 58mm rolls, Bluetooth and network printers on Android, and a recovery panel reprints missed tickets or sends the invoice number and tracking link to the customer on WhatsApp.
Every receipt carries a QR code. Scanning it, or entering the invoice number on the website, shows the order moving from Placed to In Kitchen, then Dispatched with the rider's name and time, and finally Delivered. Once delivered, the customer is invited to leave a rating, and reviews matched to a real invoice display a verified badge that the owner can reply to or moderate.
Behind the counter, the owner manages the whole restaurant from one place: batch rider dispatch with a per rider cash in hand ledger, visual table sections with free and occupied status, a menu and deal builder with size tiers and control over whether items show on the POS, the website or both, customer order history, daily expenses, packaging inventory that warns without blocking orders at peak time, and sales reports with PDF and Word export.
The custom POS is private to the restaurant, so this case study describes its features from the system documentation and screenshots provided. No sales, order volume or ranking figures are claimed.
Outcome
Mimi's Pizza now runs billing, delivery riders, stock and reporting from one system, and customers can follow their order without calling the restaurant. The POS is private to the business; features are described from screenshots provided by the restaurant. No sales or traffic figures are claimed.
