Body shops in London compete for two very different kinds of work. There are small jobs that arrive from anyone nearby, and there are higher value repairs and refinishing jobs where the customer chooses carefully because the car matters to them. Izzy Workshop wanted a website that attracted the second group, which meant the site had to feel as considered as the work itself.
The design is minimal and image forward for that reason. Large photography of completed jobs, restrained typography and plenty of space, with nothing competing for attention against the work. A customer deciding where to send a car they care about is reading the standard of finish in every photograph, so the site's job is to display it cleanly and get out of the way.
Services are broken down clearly rather than bundled into a single paragraph. A visitor can see exactly which jobs the workshop takes on and where the limits are, which filters out mismatched enquiries and saves time on both sides. Being specific about what you do best attracts better work than claiming to do everything.
The quote request flow was designed around how these enquiries genuinely begin: a photograph of the damage and a short description. Rather than demanding a long form, the site keeps the request short and pairs it with WhatsApp, so a customer standing beside the car can send an image immediately and get a realistic answer, then bring the vehicle in.
A recent work gallery does the closing work, because in this trade proof beats persuasion. The outcome is a confident online face for a growing workshop, positioned for higher value jobs and with a quote route short enough that people actually use it.
Outcome
A confident online face for a growing workshop.
