Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to website design, website development, e-commerce development, landing pages, portfolio websites, website redesign, maintenance, and related digital services provided by EcomBuilder Pakistan. By starting a project, making an advance payment, approving a quotation, or accepting services from EcomBuilder Pakistan, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

The exact project scope, deliverables, price, delivery time, and included services will be based on the selected package, quotation, invoice, or written agreement made through WhatsApp or another approved communication method.

Advance Payment

A project normally requires an advance payment of approximately 40% to 50% of the total project amount.

The exact advance payment depends on:

  • Selected package
  • Project size
  • Required features
  • Third-party tools
  • Domain requirements
  • Platform requirements

Work may begin after the required advance payment has been received.

Remaining Payment

The remaining project payment must be paid before:

  • The final public website launch
  • Final website transfer
  • Source file delivery

  • Account handover
  • Final project completion

EcomBuilder Pakistan may delay the launch, transfer, or final delivery until the outstanding payment has been received.

Revisions

Clients may request revisions during the active project period.

A maximum of 15 revision rounds is included unless a different limit is clearly stated in the selected package or quotation.

The purpose of revisions is to improve and refine the agreed website design.

The following may be treated as additional paid work rather than a normal revision:

  • Complete redesign after approval
  • Major change in design direction
  • New pages
  • New services
  • New features
  • New integrations
  • Major changes to approved content
  • Functionality outside the agreed scope
  • Rebuilding completed sections

EcomBuilder Pakistan will make reasonable changes to help the client become satisfied with the agreed design, subject to the maximum revision limit and original project scope.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate and timely:

  • Business information
  • Contact details
  • Logo
  • Branding material
  • Website text
  • Images
  • Product information
  • Prices
  • Legal claims
  • Approvals
  • Feedback
  • Account access where required

The client is responsible for confirming that all supplied content can legally be used.

Delayed Content or Feedback

If the client delays providing content, feedback, approvals, payments, files, or required access, the estimated delivery date may automatically be extended.

A delay caused by the client will not be treated as a failure by EcomBuilder Pakistan to complete the project on time.

Scope Changes

Any work outside the originally agreed project scope may require an additional payment.

Examples include:

  • Additional pages
  • Additional products
  • New website functionality
  • New forms
  • New integrations
  • New language versions
  • Major redesigns
  • Repeated changes after approval
  • Large content replacement
  • Advanced animations
  • Third-party platform integration

The additional price may be communicated to the client before the extra work begins.

Website Ownership

After the full project payment has been received, the client will receive ownership of the completed website created specifically for the client, subject to:

  • Third-party licenses
  • Platform terms
  • Hosting limitations
  • Domain-provider terms
  • Paid assets
  • Subscription services
  • Licensed software
  • External integrations

The client will retain ownership of their:

  • Business name
  • Logo
  • Images
  • Text
  • Products
  • Original business content

EcomBuilder Pakistan may retain ownership of reusable development methods, general utilities, reusable components, non-client-specific systems, and internal working processes.

Domain Inclusion

Selected packages may include a domain extension such as:

  • .online
  • .store
  • .site
  • Another similar available promotional extension

The included domain may be provided for one year.

The exact domain depends on availability at the time of registration.

Premium domains and expensive extensions may require an additional payment.

After the included period ends, future domain renewal charges will normally be the client’s responsibility.

Standard Website Hosting

For standard business, portfolio, or landing-page websites, hosting is normally the client’s responsibility.

If the client chooses to keep the website on an EcomBuilder Pakistan-supported platform, selected packages may include free hosting for the first year.

The client will still retain ownership of the website.

Migration or transfer to another platform may depend on:

  • The technology used
  • Platform export options
  • Technical compatibility
  • Third-party limitations
  • The selected package

Domain and Hosting

Every package includes hosting and a domain (.shop, .store or .online) for the first year. Other domain extensions are charged separately.

Renewals after the first year are paid by the client directly to the provider.

Third-Party Costs

The following may require separate payment unless clearly included in the selected package:

  • Premium domains
  • Domain renewals
  • Paid plugins
  • Paid software
  • External APIs
  • Premium images
  • Licensed assets
  • Payment gateway fees
  • Email services
  • Third-party subscriptions
  • Additional hosting resources
  • External platform charges

Third-party purchases are subject to the policies of the relevant provider.

Maintenance and Future Changes

Reasonable small changes may be provided free of charge after project completion.

Small changes may include:

  • Correcting a minor text mistake
  • Updating a phone number
  • Changing a small piece of text
  • Replacing a provided image
  • Fixing a minor issue caused by the original development

Additional payment may be required for:

  • Daily or frequent updates
  • Major design changes
  • New pages
  • New sections
  • New functionality
  • Large content updates
  • Repeated product uploads
  • Ongoing website management
  • Maintenance plans
  • Third-party problems
  • Work outside the original scope

Portfolio Rights

EcomBuilder Pakistan has the right to display completed client projects in:

  • The EcomBuilder Pakistan website portfolio
  • Case studies
  • Social media posts
  • Promotional material
  • Project showcases
  • Sales presentations

This may include:

  • Website screenshots
  • Business name
  • Business logo
  • Public website link
  • General project description

Sensitive private information, passwords, private customer details, payment information, and confidential business records will not be intentionally displayed.

Portfolio display is a standard condition of accepting services from EcomBuilder Pakistan.

Prohibited Projects

EcomBuilder Pakistan will not accept or continue projects involving:

  • Illegal activity
  • Fraud
  • Scams
  • Gambling
  • Adult content
  • Stolen content
  • Copyright infringement
  • Malware
  • Deceptive financial schemes
  • Harmful products or services
  • Unauthorized impersonation
  • Hate content
  • Dangerous activity
  • Any activity prohibited under applicable law

EcomBuilder Pakistan may reject or cancel a prohibited project.

Delivery Time

Any delivery time provided is an estimate based on:

  • Project size
  • Required features
  • Client cooperation
  • Timely payment
  • Availability of content
  • Approval speed
  • Technical complexity

Reasonable additional time may be required because of:

  • Technical problems
  • Third-party service delays
  • Platform problems
  • Client-requested changes
  • Missing content
  • Unexpected operational issues
  • Personal emergencies
  • Internet or service outages

A reasonable delay does not automatically entitle the client to a full refund.

Client Inactivity

If the client does not provide required content, payment, feedback, approval, or communication for 15 consecutive days, the project may be marked as paused or inactive.

When an inactive project resumes:

  • A new delivery schedule may apply
  • The project may return to the work queue
  • A reactivation fee may apply
  • Previous deadlines may no longer remain valid

Website Performance and Business Results

EcomBuilder Pakistan will make reasonable professional efforts to create a functional and professional website.

However, EcomBuilder Pakistan does not guarantee:

  • A specific number of sales
  • A specific number of inquiries
  • A specific Google ranking
  • Guaranteed business profit
  • Permanent compatibility with every third-party service
  • Zero downtime
  • Unlimited traffic capacity
  • Guaranteed approval by payment providers
  • Guaranteed advertising results

The client is responsible for their business, products, claims, pricing, customer service, and legal compliance.
