How Much Does an Ecommerce Website Cost in Pakistan?

Nobody advertises prices, so most people asking this question have already been quoted anything between PKR 5,000 and PKR 200,000 for what sounds like the same website. The range is real, but it is not random.

These are the bands we actually work in, what changes between them, and which costs come back every year. Prices are the ones on our packages page, not estimates invented for an article.

The three bands in practice

A starter site from PKR 9,999 is up to three pages: who you are, what you sell, and how to contact you, with WhatsApp built in. It is not a store; it is a credible presence that a buyer can check before messaging you.

A business website from PKR 14,499 is five to eight pages with a proper service or product structure, contact form, WhatsApp integration, and content guidance. This is the right level for a service business, trader, or manufacturer who is not taking payments online.

An online store from PKR 19,999 adds the parts that make selling possible: product catalogue, cart and checkout, WhatsApp ordering, payment gateway setup, and up to twenty products loaded at handover.

  • Starter website: from PKR 9,999, up to 3 pages, 3 to 5 days
  • Business website: from PKR 14,499, 5 to 30+ pages, 5 to 10 days
  • Online store: from PKR 19,999, full store, 7 to 14 days
  • Advanced SEO and GEO versions of each: from PKR 19,999, 24,499, and 29,999

What actually pushes the price up

Price moves with work, not with ambition. The things that reliably add cost are the ones that add hours or third party setup.

  • Product count beyond the twenty loaded at setup, and how messy the product data is
  • Payment gateway setup, because it involves your business documents and a live test
  • Custom dashboard features such as stock rules, discount codes, or delivery zones
  • Content you need written or translated rather than supplied
  • Photography and image editing for products that only have phone snaps
  • Advanced SEO and local GEO work, which is a separate tier rather than a small add on

One off cost versus yearly cost

This is where cheap quotes usually hide the real number. The build is a one off. What repeats is the domain and hosting renewal, normally paid once a year, and that is the only recurring cost on a custom store built this way.

There is no monthly platform subscription, because the store is not rented from a hosted platform. Over two or three years that difference is often larger than the build price itself, which is the honest argument for a custom store rather than a subscription platform.

Why the very cheap quotes exist

A PKR 5,000 store is usually a template with demo content swapped out, hosted on an account you do not control, with no dashboard training and nobody answering after handover. It can work as a temporary shopfront. It becomes expensive the moment you need a change, because there is nothing underneath it to change.

Ask three questions of any quote: whose name the domain is registered in, what happens in month two if something breaks, and whether you get an admin dashboard. The answers separate a price from a bargain.

What you should budget as a first time seller

If you are selling physical products in Pakistan and starting from nothing, budget for the store build, a year of domain and hosting, and a small amount for product photographs. Leave the paid advertising budget out of the build conversation entirely; a store that has never taken an order does not need an ad budget yet, it needs ten good product pages and a WhatsApp button.

Every quote we send is fixed in writing before work starts, with the scope listed line by line so nothing appears later. Compare the tiers on the packages page, or send your product list on WhatsApp and you will get the exact figure for your store.
